Meet your first maidens. After the opening sequence, the tutorial introduces your starting maidens. Read their faction and class tags — this information determines which synergies they can activate on the board.
Learn the battle board and drafting. Before each round you select maidens from a draft pool and place them on the hex board. Placement is locked when the round begins; battles then resolve automatically. Use Auto mode if you want to step back and watch.
Build faction and class synergies. Place multiple maidens with the same faction or class to trigger bonus effects that power up your whole squad. Discovering powerful synergy combinations is the core strategy of every winning formation.
Complete daily, weekly and epic quests. Quests reward summon currency and relationship points. Log in every session to clear your daily set, and push through epic quests for the largest single rewards the game offers.

Prioritise synergy over raw rarity: A Common or Rare maiden who completes a triple synergy is more valuable than an off-faction Legendary. Always check synergy fit before placing a new maiden.
Collect across factions and classes: The meta shifts. Having a broad roster — including maidens like Ingrid, Trish, Marylin, Shaksa, Ziggy, Alice, Katherina, Belphegora, and Lucifer — lets you pivot when a new synergy comp becomes dominant.
Invest in Legendary maidens strategically: Legendary maidens have the most powerful abilities and the deepest romance routes. Save summon currency for Legendary-rate-up banners when they appear rather than spending between events.
Upgrade consistently: Maidens can be strengthened over time. Spread upgrades across your core formation rather than maxing one unit and leaving the rest weak.
Quest and Economy Strategy
Quests are the most efficient free-to-play resource engine in Everlusting Life:
Clear daily quests every session: Daily quests reset each day and are the fastest route to steady summon currency. Miss a day and you miss currency that cannot be recovered.
Weekly quests reward in bulk: Weekly quests award larger lump sums of currency and relationship points. Plan your play sessions around completing the weekly set before it resets.
Epic quests unlock milestones: Epic quests are one-time challenges tied to campaign progression. Completing them unlocks unique maidens and the largest single currency drops in the game — push through them as early as your formation allows.

Finish Awakening events inside the week: each Awakening event headlines a new maiden (Colette, Rory, Delilah and Lamyris are recent examples) and lasts exactly one week. Awakening Coins are deleted when the event ends — spend everything before the timer runs out, because unspent Coins are pure loss.
Clear all three Time Rift floors: Time Rift "memories" events are three floors of PvE battles around one maiden's story. Push to the top floor for the full Memory Shard payout, and sweep every stage for the hidden Mirrors — they permanently unlock your girls' potential, which outlasts the event itself.
Plan with the monthly roadmap: a roadmap of upcoming events and Time Rift maidens is published at the start of each month. If the maiden you want appears there, start saving summon currency now instead of spending between banners.
Try Conquest while it's in testing: the new strategic mode — reclaiming the city of Arcanum from Lord Corvax with squads of Commanders — is in public testing as of July 2026. Test periods are the cheapest time to learn a mode before ranked rewards attach to it.
Do event missions before dailies: when an event is live, its mission list usually rewards more per minute than the standard daily set. If your play session is short, clear event missions first and let low-value dailies slide.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Ignoring synergies: Placing maidens randomly without checking faction and class compatibility leaves powerful bonuses inactive. Always build around at least one synergy pair.
Over-rerolling early: Spending all your rerolls in the first rounds leaves no economy for later waves. Reroll conservatively until you have a stable core formation.
Skipping affection building: The passive combat bonuses from high-affection maidens are significant over many rounds of PvP. Invest in relationships from the start, not just as an endgame activity.
Entering PvP under-prepared: Check your synergy count and maiden upgrade levels before queuing ranked. An under-synergised board will lose quickly to optimised enemy formations.
