This roundup covers the official Everlusting Life announcements on Steam from September 21 to October 2, 2026, a stretch that opened with version 7.0.0. Its Steam post was devoted to a single feature: Conquest, a strategy mode set in the city of Arcanum. The mode was not a total surprise — the developers had opened a public test of Conquest in July, with access through their Discord server, and 7.0.0 brought it into the game itself. The July test announcement set the scene: Lord Corvax, fallen to Corruption, had overrun Arcanum with monsters, and the Archmage is the one to win it back. Per the 7.0.0 notes, you lead your Officers and plan your strategy, go up against other players, help rebuild Arcanum, take on fresh challenges as you advance, and team up with other Archmages in a Guild.
Two maintenance patches followed. 7.0.1 landed on September 25 in response to player reports: it added your server number to your Conquest profile, with a note that friends on different servers cannot share a Guild, and fixed, among other things, squads that could in rare cases vanish from the World Map while returning, Army Power that did not count equipment bonuses correctly, overlapping Time Rift and Dungeon maps, a battle bug when Ingrid died mid-skill, and a snag that could leave players stuck in the Archaeology and Arcanas tutorial. 7.0.2 arrived on October 2 and dealt with a Tournament medal counter that could show the wrong number after a battle, connection trouble that could keep progress from saving or leave the Global Map stuck loading, Energy that could be spent twice when attacking certain monsters during a quest, and a server error when claiming Troops in Conquest. It also let players collect Gin Trials quest rewards manually, sent rewards from unclaimed Arms Race chests to the inbox once a stage ends, put an Auto Assemble Squad button on the screen where you pick Officers and gave Reinari's Combat Pass a longer run so players had more time to earn its rewards. Looking ahead, the 7.0.2 notes listed more content, new Guild features, new ways to develop Commanders and server improvements for upcoming updates.
On the roster side, the new arrival was Kayra, introduced in a Sneak Peek on September 30 — her first appearance in the game's Steam announcements. Her story is more eerie than flirty: she woke with no heartbeat and no memory of who she had been, beside a voodoo doll that named her and told her that her fate now belonged to the spirits, and she serves them while hunting for clues to a past she cannot recall. In battle she is an Uncommon Vanguard of the Morana race whose active ability damages her target and cuts the healing it receives, helping her side close out fights. She debuted in a one-week Awakening event, announced on October 1, that also offered Blair and Daria — a pair last featured together, per the game's Steam announcements, in Viola's Awakening in November 2025. As in earlier Awakenings, leftover Awakening Coins were set to vanish once the event ended, and the announcement also offered Kayra as a purchasable mascot who greets you at every launch, with personal voice lines, backgrounds and reactions.
Familiar faces filled the rest of the schedule. On September 24 Iris returned in a new one-week Awakening after headlining one in June, this time alongside Thanata and Rory instead of Lothariel and Elianthe. Time Rift, where players climbed three floors of PvE battles for Memory Shards and hunted for Mirrors that unlock a girl's full potential, served two memory chapters: on September 25 the teaser for the twins Laura and Dora told of a sisterly quarrel that sent Dora off alone into the jungle, with Laura unwilling to let her sister face it by herself, and on October 2 Violette, the romantic saving herself for a Perfect Prince, was back with the same Steam teaser as her July 2025 chapter, which points to a rerun. On September 30 the team also teased the October roadmap — reruns of past events and maidens heading into Time Rift — and pointed players to its Discord server for the full version. None of these announcements included promo codes: our Everlusting Life promo codes page tracks the verified code status, and the Everlusting Life guide has tips for Awakening, Time Rift and Conquest.
